Hanging Out With The Big Kids

We stayed in most of the day since it was still rainy and windy out. We went out in the afternoon to mail something at the post office, and then we headed to Miya's. We hung out with Taiga and his cousins Nicholas and Aiden. Chase so wants to play with them, but he still is working on sitting up, flipping over, and scooting around on his own. He watched them play on the toy cars and was fascinated, but then scared by the talking Simba, furbee, and allosaurus, who were all nearly his size or bigger.

We hung out all afternoon there and tried to give him tofu, but he wasn't quite interested. He kept spitting it out. I'd put it back in, and then he'd spit it out again.

Miya says Chase will probably start crawling and walking once he hangs out with Taiga and the boys more regularly. He'll want to chase them around soon enough and join in all the fun! She's agreed to watch Chase a few days a week when I go back to work half-time mid-January (My mother-in-law will watch Chase two days a week.) He'll probably have a lot of fun hanging out with them each day. She's got a ton of toys and lots of space for him to move around. He'll probably come home exhausted each day from all the overstimulation!

After eating some corn chowder and chex mix with Miya and Jenn, we went home and picked up Chris, and then headed back out again for grocery shopping at Costco.
