Picked Chris up from work, and we took Vietnamese take out to the Foster Botanical Garden for their Twilight Summer Concert Series. We set up our mats on the grass, among all the other kids and families. Chase had fun watching other kiddos play with their monster trucks and run around. We listened to a kids' group sing songs from "Seussical the Musical" and a Celtic group of bagpipers. Chase enjoyed eating and playing with noodles and loved his bagel. It was a nice family event. We walked around afterwards, through the gardens and by the big huge trees.
And the nicest part was that Chase was home, bathed, and to bed by 8 pm!
