Children's Discovery Museum

Today, we spent a beautiful sunny day indoors at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Chase loved the water play, making balls float and bounce on water. He loved climbing all over the fire truck and steering the wheel. He paddled in a round Vietnamese boat. He played with dirt, sat on a bench in the garden, and pointed at airplanes flying into the airport overhead. He sat relatively still for storytime, and loved bouncing on the blocks. We explored every nook and cranny of that place for over three hours.

The ride home (though Chase was fast asleep) was exciting because there was a 50 car police chase on the freeway. We picked Popo up and headed to Costco so she could buy some books for Chase's early xmas present. We picked up a pizza and took it home to eat while watching the debate. Chase scarfed down Popo's jook (Chinese dish of chicken, rice, and carrots) and ended his night doing circles (so many that he'd get dizzy and fall down laughing) and running back and forth in the living room.
