Chase was bright and chipper at 7 am. We ran around outside and inside, ate breakfast (he ate two bowls of jook again plus cereal and eggs!), and waited for Daddy to wake up. Now, it's 11:30 am, and we're all packed up and heading on the road again this afternoon to my mom's in Sacramento. We're going to take the scenic route and go through Berkeley to the REI on our way up north. Hopefully Chase will not be too fussy in the car. We've already missed our window of opportunity for his morning nap.
Just waiting for Chris and Chase to get back from taking Popo to the bank. Then we're off! My brother Jay and Shelly will get in tomorrow morning. They will be bringing Popo up for the wedding on Saturday in El Dorado Hills.
