Pua & Spencer's wedding

Sunday, 30 April 2006

Went to 8 am yoga and then headed off with my friends to Pua and Spencer's wedding at the Halekulani. It was a beautiful and emotional wedding, from 4 year old Nicholas pulling Pua and Spencer's 1 year old Mason down the aisle in a Radio Flyer wagon, to the beautiful topiaries and slide show video of the couple. The most touching part was when Pua did her thank you's. Even though they're such a young couple (She just turned 21 the day before.), it was such a beautiful wedding. I helped feed Mason during the reception. He's such a cute bundle of energy.

The hired emcee was quite the comedian, the buffet was delicious (and we were starving from waiting nearly an hour and a half after the outdoor ceremony as the wedding party took pictures) .... And, at the end of the night, I caught the bouquet. What a beautiful wedding! I'm so happy for Pua and Spencer.

The Voicemail

Saturday, 29 April 2006

If you are a "Sex and the City" watcher like me, you might know the episode where Berger broke up with Carrie on a post-it note.

Well, it wasn't on a post-it note, but on my voicemail. Guess sometimes life really does imitate art. Or "Sex and the City" was just a smart show depicting how some men really are just that immature.

It's like Twin Peaks Revisited. We had to stop by Snoqualmie Falls. And, boy, was I surprised by all the development on the drive there! Posted by Picasa

At the University of Washington, my alma mater, the cherry blossom trees are lined up in the shape of a "W". When they bloom in the spring, the view is spectacular. Posted by Picasa

I always loved the spring time (although my allergies hated it!) when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom....And you walked to class through the Quad, with people hanging out in the sun. It makes the sky look like pink snow. Posted by Picasa
