This is the question on all of our minds...One of my best friends, Miya, has been having complications with her pregancy over the past week and was admitted into the hospital this morning. After inconclusive tests, she's been determined a "high-risk pregnancy" and the doctor has decided to induce labor tomorrow morning. Friends stayed with her to keep her company while her husband got stuff together at home. I stayed until 11:30 pm, watching her contractions and trying to stay positive with her. She's worried about the baby and his health.
Had a good Thai dinner tonight with my class at Chiang Mai restaurant, hardly practicing our Thai, but enjoying a nice meal among the ten of us. We treated our teacher and look forward to taking her classes again (some repeating Thai I again!).
Let's hope there are no complications tomorrow and pray for a safe, healthy delivery for both mother and baby.
