First Day of School

Today was the first day of school! It was weird for me not to have a classroom full of kids and parents on the first day. My classroom is all set up, but my assistant Nicole and I organized and set up testing materials and then visited classrooms to figure out where our possible ESL kids were located. It was a pretty uneventful day for me. But, it was great to see little faces again, rolling backpacks (which is strange to me that kids need such big packs these days), and the excitement of first year teachers greeting their students.
